The QTNVG-18 is a quad-tube night vision system designed to compete with the GPNVG, offering an unmatched 120-degree Field of View (FOV)—a huge advantage over traditional 40-50 degree FOV goggles. This enhanced peripheral vision is a game-changer, especially for SOF operators, providing significantly improved situational awareness in the field.

The center two lenses function like standard dual-tube goggles, offering depth perception, while the outer tubes expand the operator’s peripheral vision. This system merges the images at the eyepieces, allowing for an overlapping panoramic view. The result is a wide, seamless night vision image that drastically enhances navigation and targeting capabilities.

The QTNVG-18 is modular, featuring independent right and left merged assemblies that can be removed and used as handheld viewers when necessary. The Interpupillary Distance (IPD) is adjustable via the helmet mount, ensuring a custom fit for each operator.

This housing kit includes optics, a battery pack, and a hard foam case—everything needed except image intensifier tubes.
